Although the best use of Handy Backup
is to save data safely to our off site data
servers, it can also be used with the following types of media:
- CD-R/CD-RW media;
- Local Network
Drives;
- ZIP, JAZ, MO;
- HDD and floppy disks.

For CD-RW devices an automatic media rotation is provided, which prompts the user when a disc is full and needs to be replaced.
Note: If this option is disabled on your system (grayed out in the Handy Backup Wizard), you may need to download ASPI drivers DLL from Adaptec, Inc. You can find it here.
Integrated ZIP compression
You can either copy files to their destination as-is or employ built-in multi-choice ZIP compression to minimize your time online and storage space used.

Activity log in RTF format
All backup activities are recorded in a log file available in RTF format. In version 3.7 the FTP connection log has been added allowing the user to monitor connection to the remote FTP server.
